it is a taped for edit, broadcast later on travel and foodie show. any bits the station doesn't like will end up in the garbage pail. or the whole project will get canned and all the footage and audio will be destroyed.

only Haibara is the one at serious risk of exposure. every time Conan has defeated Kaito Kid he's been on the front page of the papers. Conan was even on camera on a live feed for one of Kid's capers. for the Kirin Horn Case the press came to HIS SCHOOL! and confronted him about Kaito Kid even before Conan was told that Sonoko's Great Uncle had challenged Kid. Conan and the DBC were on camera for the Kirin Horn Case, even Haibara was there and in frame many times before the camera feed was cut to the TV station. in the serial bomber case several seasons ago Conan was on the front page as the kid who defused the bomb in the Tokyo Tower elevator saving himself and Takagi.

Conan is not afraid of publicity. he should be, considering he and Kogoro are on the Black Organization's 'shit, but no hit just yet' list.

'i forgot my Kamen Yaiba card in that crime-scene.' or like a tiny little bull in a giant china-shop just barrels on in like he owns the place. or how often he just casually wanders around somewheres eavesdropping like a paparazzi or a private dick looking for infidelity evidence.
